Education/Experience:
SOMA is seeking a full-time industrial hygienist, with a minimum to 3 to 5 years of experience in the APAC region and a Bachelors of Science or Masters of Science in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Engineering or other related discipline. Ideal candidate will be fluent in conducting field industrial hygiene, environmental sampling and performing safety and health audits. Prior experience with ergonomics, safety, and indoor air quality issues and work in refineries, retail or biopharmaceuticals is a plus.

Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities will include evaluating chemical and physical hazards in both occupational and non-occupational environments including fieldwork such as calibrating and operating equipment for air monitoring, noise dosimetry and ventilation, and laboratory coordination. The individual will collect relevant data, observe field situations, and document events. The individual will run operations for APAC from our Singapore office and manage projects to ensure scopes, budgets, and schedules are met and coordinate projects with staff and clients and attend trade shows as necessary. 25 to 35% travel is likely required throughout APAC, EMEA, and the US.
